Environmental Policy

NEW ID Co., Ltd, (NEW ID) understand the importance of healthy and sustainable environment. We will conduct our business in ways that will protect and preserve the environment. This includes working with business partners that share visions for sustainable operations and processes.

 

To achieve this goal, we will adhere to applicable legal and internal requirements relating to the environment, including the following key areas, and are defined by our long-term aspirational goals:

  • Reduce carbon emissions across the supply chain in line with the goals of the Paris Agreement and the Science-Based absolute carbon emission reduction target;

  • Meet our Science-Based target through initiatives that include but are not limited to improved energy efficiency, waste reduction, equipment innovation and supplier engagement;

  • Drive recyclability and the collection of recyclable materials in everyday operation;

  • Enhance the use of recycled content; and

  • Bring together people and partners to support a healthy and safe environment.

NEW ID Labor Management Council (LMC) define the policies, standards and requirements for managing our environmental responsibilities across our operations. In addition to requiring compliance with applicable legal requirements, LMC also requires the provision of resources to achieve the organization’s environment objectives, together with the fostering of continual improvement in environment performance.

They include the following, keeping in mind that the required scope and details of each element below:

  • Risk Assessment and Management;

  • Identify, evaluate, and address environmental risks and emerging trends;

  • Use regular, periodic, and objective assessments to ensure compliance with the company and applicable legal requirements;

  • Engaged, Capable Employees;

  • Objectives and Performance Tracking; and

  • Collaborate (as appropriate) with public and private entities (including governments, non-governmental organizations, other businesses, and local communities).
